Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
I am the Senior Web Manager on the Marketing Operations team at a cybersecurity company. I design and build webpages and sites in both static HTML/CSS and Drupal CMS. I use BrowserStack Live to test web designs in multiple browsers and mobile devices. I also use Screenshots for presentation purposes.
Pros
- Screenshots testing is convenient if you want to show someone how something looks.
- Live testing is great for debugging.
- The drag a drop option is nice.
Cons
- I wish the Live testing was faster.
- I wish I could test local pages, not require a live URL.
- Navigation of the site is a bit confusing.
- BrowserStack has made browser testing much easier than using virtual machines.
- We can test multiple browsers much faster.
- The account can be shared across the team so it is used by Marketing, Engineering, and ITS.
BrowserStack was cheaper so we went with it instead.
