Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
We used it for QA automation. And we used it for Cross browser and cross platform testing. This is used for CI/CD pipeline intergradation in our team. So, using this pipeline Intergration we can run our all test together and can record the test running if error occurred. The screen recording and remote debugging features help us easily reproduce and diagnose issues reported in specific environments.
Pros
- Easily Collaboration and reporting. Like After running the test we can share recording and logs with the development team.
- As the cross-browser testing, we run our test cases in chrome and edge.
- We integrate this with Jenkins and test result get with logs and videos
Cons
- We integrate with this Jenkins, so sometime failures logs are not much describable in Jenkin console
- Parallel test execution reduces the total time of execution
- BrowserStack support direct integration with Selenium
- Improve the product quality and the end user experience.
- Availability of screen recording and logs help to resolve the bugs quickly
- Intergration with Selenium help to run our test in every pull and commits
Limited OS and cross browser testing like sometimes we cannot test older Firefox for testing. This caused to miss some bugs in real world user experience. And also, our full test suit can't run inside the pipeline because of the environment setup limitations. And also manual test is also need for the post build
- Automate
- Test Management
These products Supports our growing test suite without worrying about local infrastructure or machine limits. And also, this is easily validated every build over the multiple browsers. With using TestNG and automation we reduce our regression suit runtime through the parallel test execution. With the integration with the Jenkins allow test to run automatically after every code push.
When we are comparing BrowserStack have faster session start times compared to Sauce Labs. And also simpler, user friendly setup and UI. This help to our team members to navigate and use. Browser stacks have reliable parallel execution with stable performance. We can get better devices and browser coverage for our target use.
