Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
My organization makes HRM apps, which also server as a webapp. The web applications need to be tested on various browser version and various devices ranging from mobile to desktop. Then we have different browsers like Safari, Mozilla, and Chrome. Manually testing it require enomous time and labour, BrowserStack fixes these.
Pros
- It is best for cross browser testing. NO setup required.
- The Offline local app is also very good. For enterprise, we can use the offline runner to test without sending proprietary data outside.
- The console and UI is intuitive, Doesn't require me to find all the documentation to understand.
Cons
- Beside browser testing, accessibility testing feature is little complicated to understand requires me to dig through different product to find what I'm searching for.
- Automated web testing
- Automated Mobile web testing
- Live preview and export reports
- BrowserStack actually reduce the manual testing, saving human hours. The automated testing is fast and quick, which can be compared against previous reports to make statistical checks for app improvement.
Before BrowserStack, we have to reply on Humans to do manual testing on different browser. We require infrasture, to test all the valid browser version, record the results and validate the outcome. The whole process is time consuming and costly. We did try some automated solutions but the expected results fall below our baseline.
- Automate
- App Automate
Automate and app automate test our web app on various browser on several versions. Also, they make automated report to understand what's failing and what's need to be fixed. This is really helpful if you have to public your app twice a month.
Browserling is good but only have basic features and require manual efforts to do all the testing. It doesn't output much detail that my org required. LambdaTest cost doesn't match the output from the app, also it's not feature rich as BrowserStack.
