BrowserStack- Best tool for Browser compatibility testing lab
Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
We required to test the product for that part we are requiring for different desktops size for responsiveness as well as cross browser compatibility testing for the website before going to live as well as working on the app testing we required the ios of different version with android with different size for that part we are using it for complete testing and helps to cost saving of the purchasing the different types of phone or tablet we can test directly by making the session in it
Pros
- Real Devices and Real browser testing-sometime issue comes on the safari browser only not on the simulators showing the errors
- Massive Browser and OS Version Coverage for all the versions of browser and operating systems
- Tests localhost, internal staging URLs and does not required the live url for testing the products
Cons
- Costlier when we are taking it for team members for costing they should think about it and try to make it reduced
- Sometime Session Startup Time Can Feel Slow when first time loading the devices as well
- Automation Debugging UX Is Weak when automation fails debugging is quite difficult for it
- Multi browser and versioning provides by them
- Tests native Android & iOS apps not just web testing
- Automation testing via ci cd pipelines using selenium for web testing
- Reducing of the issue which we faced on sometime on safari that already tested by using it
- Lower cost as compared to internal device testing lab purchasing
- Improved the productivity via developers can reproduce the bugs to resolve it faster
basically on the web version that codes is working on chrome and fine on simulator as well but on real device it is not working fine for that qa can find the bugs as well as developer can verify via verification check on it so conflicts are reduced due to this and better productivity in it
