Overall Satisfaction with Buffer

Our marketing department uses Buffer for social media management. Buffer helps us organize all of our accounts in one place. We are able to analyze, post, and schedule content from one seamless system to all of our social media accounts.

Hootsuite and Sprout Social also allow for multiple account management and easy scheduling of content. However, the functionality of Buffer and the ease of interface make it superior to the rest.
Buffer is the ultimate social media management software. It has all the capabilities you need to successfully manage any number of accounts you may have. With easy to understand analytics and even easier scheduling capabilities, Buffer does not disappoint. It's an aesthetically pleasing one-stop shop software for all your social media needs.

Evaluating Buffer and Competitors

Yes - Buffer replaced Hootsuite. While both offer extremely features it really came down to the ease of use. Hootsuite offers mediocre navigation and the scheduling of posts is simply not as simple whereas Buffer has a clean interface with super easy drag and drop scheduling features.

The biggest factor when deciding to switch came from the usability of the software. Having to use a software every day, multiple times a day, you want to make sure each use is a pleasant experience rather than having to get frustrating with clunky navigation, Buffer offers stress-free use.
Wouldn't change the evaluation and selection process at all. It came down to how easy the software was to use and Buffer is a simpler, cleaner interface that offers a pleasant experience time and again.
