Overall Satisfaction with Canto

Canto is being used by both the marketing department and the sales team. Our sales team uses Canto to send images of products to clients, showing them exactly what they'll be purchasing from us. Our sales team also takes photos in the field that are uploaded so that they are there for future use and for the marketing team to use in different media. Our marketing team not only uses Canto to organize all of our images for creative but we also send out finalized materials to vendors for different uses, including digital, print, and video.

Cons

  • No useable phone app
  • Difficult loading larger images via mobile device
  • Limited number of admins and costly to add more
  • Able to easily adjust to safety protocols by sending clients images of products so they don't have to come into the locations
  • Easily used with remote clients and employees
  • Ties into the Adobe Creative Suite, making it easy to utilize images through Canto for creative projects
If they would develop a functioning app that worked across Apple and Android, this would be an easy 10 on the scale. The only way you can use this quickly from your phone is by bookmarking the page to your home screen, then you will need to log in each time to access your files. It is secure, which is nice, but not having an app in today's age seems a bit silly.
Canto support is always on top of things. They reply quickly and you are assigned a customer success manager who helps you with the initial setup so you feel comfortable launching this across your business. They can be difficult to get ahold of on the phone if you need quick help but have email support.

Canto would be perfect for contractors, real-estate agents, creative directors, designers, and videographers. This software allows you to upload and sort images based on folder designations that you decide. Along with being able to add custom tags, filters, and logos easily to all images, you are able to add different edited versions of the same file without adding in duplicates. The software allows you to easily change versions based on what you need. There are many different file types that it can produce and it is compatible with the Adobe Creative Suite.
