Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

CaptivateIQ is used to track commissions. The accounting team can rely on it to run commissions quicks, and the sales reps can rely on it to be accurate the first time. The UI is simple enough to pick up without any real training meaning so new hires can start utilizing it quickly.

  • It allows the sales reps to get a clear view of what they are being paid for
  • It allows for simple approvals
  • No real complaints from my end

  • ability for reps to easily understand what happened and why
  • The accounting team spends less time on manually running reports
  • sales reps no longer have to triple check everything
  • leadership can place reliance on data
I actually was not part of the evaluation of this product so I cannot speak to how it compares to other systems. I do know that our internal procurement process is pretty sophisticated and scrutinous. CaptivateIQ was found to be the leader in ease of use and had a great UI.

The system is well suited for any company with a sales team whose commission structure can get complex. It can easily handle varying deal rates, accelerators, and performance bonuses. I'm not entirely sure where the limitations of the product are, because we're satisfied with it as a whole. I would recommend this product to anyone who asked.
