Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

We brought in CIQ to centralize all variable compensation calculations, statements, and dashboards for the sales organization as we needed to get less manual with our process and more streamlined. This product will help us grow and scale. We are currently using it for the sales organization and will expand to other parts of the revenue division.

Pros

  • Help to build and maintain comp plans with agility
  • Helping with SOX and ASC 606 compliance
  • Building out the comp plans in a familiar way to excel

Our current process of maintaining commission files and going through the compensation cycle is very manual. Out of all the compensation platforms that we researched, CaptivateIQ was the most agile we found. CaptivateIQ is very well suited for an admin that has a strong background in Excel and its formulas. I would say that Captivate is less appropriate for an admin or organization that isn't Excel savvy and doesn't plan on adjusting its variable compensation often.
