Overall Satisfaction with Celonis

Celonis is used to create transparency in how our processes run and identify improvement potential. Additionally, for newly added systems/processes, Celonis shows the "automation/digitalization" readiness of the process. What I mean by that is Celonis just shows what the IT systems see. Therefore if KPI`s are not as desired, it is not because employees [did] a bad job, but it shows most of the time that activities of the process take place outside the IT infrastructure and are therefore not "digitalization" ready. Celonis is a very comprehensive tool that can support during a digitalization journey.
  • Visualize your processes.
  • Identify improvement potential.
  • Support in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Can feel overwhelming (feature rich).
  • Page refreshes after layout changes, without filter changes (column wide).
  • From a user standpoint it provided visibility of improvement potential.
  • It for sure reduces the time needed for data extraction and analysis.
The current state is mainly been focused on getting all global ERP data for the main processes O2C, P2P, AP, AR, etc. consolidated in Celonis for transparency. With the migration to the IBC that includes Celonis' new(er) features (Action Engine etc.) I expect a more digital transformation besides creating transparency and potential identification since this will bring the shift to generating automated actions, based on the findings.

Do you think Celonis delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Celonis's feature set?

Yes

Did Celonis live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Celonis go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Celonis again?

Yes

Very well suited to create transparency throughout a complex organizational setup in one process. It can support getting everyone on the same page and shifting the focus from department to process optimization. Less suited for static data analysis/dashboards if there is not an object to follow along a process it doesn't make a lot of sense to utilize Celonis.
