Overall Satisfaction with Checkout.com

Checkout.com is our main payment gateway when it comes to accepting transactions all over the world. Having clients worldwide, it might be difficult to be able to perform well in terms of payments acceptance. Checkout.com allows our users to successfully make purchases by having a wide selection of processors which allows them to perform well in different countries.

  • Advanced reporting practices
  • Easy to use & UX friendly dashboard
  • Great customer service
  • More advanced ways of viewing useful data (i.e. graphs for AR over time, etc)
  • Higher approval rate
  • Being able to capture payments in more countries
Having checkout.com as our main payment gateway for capturing transactions worldwide, we are able to perform well in terms of payment acceptance in almost all countries, therefore their solution really helped us generate more revenue and accept more payments in markets we did not perform that well previously.
General support team is always friendly, helpful and responding in a timely manner. For bigger scale issues, we can always contact our account manager or other CKO members who are usually also very helpful and are able to assist us. In general, I never had an issue with Checkout's overall support.
Most of the above payment gateways perform well in specific markets but may perform poorer elsewhere. Checkout.com has good acceptance rate in overall most of the countries, allowing us to rely on them on capturing transactions that other payment processors would struggle with.

I think it's great to use for medium or large companies, but I believe it might not be worth considering it for someone smaller due to competitive pricing. Also I heard cases where users had a hard time integrating their software, therefore it might be a good idea to plan accordingly and be ready to dedicate decent dev resources.
