Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect
Cisco AnyConnect is being used by the entire company to create secure connections in order to log into company intranet, confidential services, web pages, and portals. As secret or confidential information is being kept in company private networks, a secure connection is required for login. Cisco AnyConnect provides this connection as a mobility client (or it may called as a VPN as well).
- Stable connection without noticeable issues
- Integration with 2-step authentication tools (e.g. RSA)
- No troubleshoot details when encountered a connection problem
- May create conflict with other installed VPN's
- Reduce security concerns
- Help to keep confidential information safe
- Check Point Endpoint Security (Sandblast Agent), VMware ESXi, Juniper Advanced Threat Prevention (JATP) and formerly cyphort
Cisco AnyConnect was the only option for our company due to its robustness through the years, and the provided services for issue resolution and the support in general. I have used Betternet, Eset, and some other VPN clients as well, but not for enterprise level. I know the various listed options; however, I don't have enough information to make a comparison. I am happy with AnyConnect and have not had any issues so far. With its reliability and integrity with authorization tools, it comes forward as a better choice. Their good customer support also should not be forgotten.
