Cisco AnyConnect allows one to connect to any network, system, or remote network in an organization to help stay connected. It provides great endpoint protection and ability to connect to any network on the go. It allows administrator to set definite rules regarding connection, showing network detail, and have advanced window settings for every user. It also allows to automatically connect to VPN in range and auto connect after network disruptions. It also shows IP address it is connected to and shows all details and a list of other networks in range.

  • It is accessible and available on any device, including mobile phone, desktop, laptop, or even personal computers

  • It requires better control over switching over networks and allows users to set protocols to manage this control
  • Sometimes has bugs and auto disconnects from networks and doesn't show networks in range
  • It does not allow good user controls

It is well suited when a large-scale deployment of a common network connecting tool is required. It shows the status of all networks and tracks network strengths to ensure it is connected to best-suited network. It is not suited well for small-scale organizations where they are no major networks available, and just one or two network options are there.
