Cisco AnyConnect Does What is Asked
Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect
We use Cisco AnyConnect to VPN into our internal network to connect to our ERP system for our remote workers and traveling employees.
Pros
- Remotely connect to internal network
- Auto reconnects if there is a network blip
- Integrates will with our MFA provider
Cons
- Auto update from Cisco Meraki Security Appliance
- Allow easier logon scripts to map drive and other items
- Allow easier logoff scripts to remove mapped drives
- Allows users to work from home and traveling with ease
- Allows remote users to work as if they are at the office
- Reconnects after internet outage
We have benefited as we have remote users that need to connect back to our organizations network to use our ERP. This also allows users who travel to get on our system and assist our customers at the customer office.
The last time I used SonicWall you had to pay for each VPN user but with Cisco AnyConnect you have unlimited users with the appliance. I did like SonicWall's logon and logoff scripts but they both do what is expected well.
