Amazon WorkSpaces is quite nice, but like all virtual desktops it can be quite sluggish and unresponsive. Cisco AnyConnect allows us to connect remotely while still leveraging the power of our own machines. This keeps things snappy and responsive and allows us to avoid the obnoxious slowdowns and lag that can occur with a virtual machine.
