Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect

Cisco AnyConnect is being used in our organization to access our corporate applications remotely.

We have various corporate applications installed in our on-premises server which needs remote access to use it from other branches or outside network. Cisco AnyConnect is playing very important role to provide secured remote access for the same.

Pros

  • It enables you to access corporate applications remotely without compromising security
  • Additional layer of security like MFA can be integrated with it easily
  • Works smooth and faster on stable internet connection

Cons

  • Firewall needs to be disabled in some cases
  • Pricing is fine as per features but needs to be more competitive. It will be better if they provide extra discount for old customers
  • It requires stable internet connection
  • It enables your users to access corporate applications anytime and from anywhere resulting good productivity
  • It ensures you corporate data security
  • it ensures you higher availability
It is a very useful tool for your organizations, especially when you have multiple branches. Instead of installing costly routers or firewalls in each branch you can simply install VPN client on each system. This not only saves your money but also time to monitor them. It lets your users to work from home also.
Yes of course, it has benefited us very much. Users are now able to access corporate applications and work remotely from anywhere and anytime as per their convenience. Even they able to work from home.
It has great customer support team which can support you over phone and emails. They also have great escalation matrix.

From case raising to resolution everything is in well manner and you will get quick updates on your case over email.
Before buying Cisco AnyConnect we evaluated FortiClient. We decided to go with Cisco AnyConnect due to its attractive pricing.
Both were providing same features but Cisco AnyConnect prices were cheaper than FortiClient.
Secondly, Cisco is leading name in Cyber Security so we finalized Cisco AnyConnect.

It is not suitable for organizations having single office only.
