Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is used by the whole organization to manage online distance and/or blended training sessions. We also use Webex to host events and showcase our products and service to potential, prospective customers. We were able to add more services to our catalog and have much happier customers since they can enjoy both in-person and distanced meetings with us.
  • Collaboration and annotation tools
  • Breakout/interactive sessions
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Multiple concurrent desktops sharing
  • Hard muting
  • Restricted access to only invited attendees, even if outside the organization
  • More customers
  • More effective meetings
  • Less expenditures to move from one place to another
It's a completely innovative and comprehensive experience. Webex Meetings has better audio and video quality, many more features and tools to use during meetings and classes. Moreover, the Cisco Webex Meetings Suite perfectly and seamlessly integrates into our LMS system, the well-known open-source MOODLE LMS. Finally, Cisco provides best-in-class security and privacy features to protect our customers and students.

Outages are rare. Sometimes there are features that are not immediately available after a meeting ends. I'm thinking about recording and reports. The overall availability seems very high to me. There can be peak hours and periods but this can be managed with some tips and tricks, like not scheduling meetings on top of the hours.
It can support up to 1000 users in a meeting and 3000 users in an event. Many hardware and software platforms are supported. Still missing Linux support for the Webex Desktop app, though. Webex Meetings can be deployed in many departments and business units seamlessly and without the need to train people to use it.
Something can be done to make the desktop app faster. When it loads on start-up it makes the system quite slower than expected. Reports and recordings are not immediately available after a meeting ends. Using both Webex Meetings and Webex Teams desktop apps slows down the system.
Cisco Webex Meetings is well suited for education, business meetings, training, and collaboration, and less so for events, lab activities, practical and hands-on sessions, and situations where you need to strictly monitor attendees' behaviours (exams).

Cisco Webex Experience

No need to train people before using it.
Somewhat well: I'm not able to restrict access to meetings to only some users (if outside my organization).

Webex Meetings Support

The support provided by Cisco is not as great as its product. Many times you lose time explaining the issue to representatives who seem to be not perfectly aware of how Cisco Webex Meetings works and who don't speak English very well. Often you need to exchange many emails to get the issue resolved and it takes much time.

Using Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is easy to use. People do not need much training to proficiently use it. Even students can easily use it, via the web app, desktop app, or mobile app. The administrative use of Cisco Webex (i.e., Control Hub) is not so easy and straightforward. No detailed guides are available to explain some common use cases.
