Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

Main uses are for: Company notes documentation, personal and team task management, general project dashboards and databases, calendars/gantt charts.

Additional pro is that ClickUp can share dashboards with public links, so all subcontractors that we work with can additionally view our calendars.

Pros

  • Filtering features: filtering calendars down to only relevant tasks for that individual or group of company
  • Publicly available links
  • Customer service is extremely responsive, incredible help
  • Dashboard views (and all views) are extremely customizable

Cons

  • Sometimes it glitches, have to refresh
  • Lots of accidental commands when typing notes will take you out of the document you're working in
  • Gantt is not as powerful as MS projects and no link between gantt to MS projects
  • Excel cannot be linked in ClickUp
  • Increasing productivity and company organization
  • everything all together in one place
Much better document management, task management and overall more cohesive. Interdepartment views are helpful

Yes

Less appropriate for older users without training. Recent grads can figure it out just fine, very user friendly for younger users. But Older folks will have a hard time with the amount of options and uses.

Very powerful once someone masters it.
Great for time tracking, note taking and overall project organization. Task management is great, I can tag tasks that will automatically be added to a recurring meeting's agenda.
