Perfect Collaboration Tool for Remote Teams.
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
Our association uses ClickUp to manage projects and provide visibility on progress and roadblocks to all. It is used very collaboratively and allows us to complete work asynchronously, which is very helpful as we are a remote workforce based in several time zones. We use several different formats, which will enable ClickUp to work for a variety of other teams and projects.
Pros
- Organization.
- Asynchronous work.
- Progress updates.
- Work statistics.
Cons
- Menus could be simpler, sometimes the number of options are overwhelming.
- Sharing pages/tasks with a link, would like the link text to be human readable.
- Reduced meeting time, since we can collaborate directly on project progress within ClickUp.
- Project information consolidation keeps everything organized in one location and provides a history of any questions or conversations that have taken place.
ClickUp has enabled more cross-team communication and more efficient collaboration between all stakeholders on projects. It is simple to keep people informed on any updates or roadblocks. I appreciate the flexibility to create various projects with different templates depending on the needs of the team and/or project.
Because of the various types of formatting available, ClickUp has been a good solution for multiple teams. Different templates, from simple lists to detailed Kanban boards, are available to track work; however, it makes sense for the team or project being tracked. This has provided a solution that we think eventually all teams will use - rather than having work tracked using multiple tools.
