Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

This is to ensure accountability and keep track of project progress, as well as to add visibility to what is on everyone's plate at any given time.

Pros

  • Keep a daily to-do list.
  • Run a "ticketing" system via a form.
  • Create dashboards.

Cons

  • It can be hard to track shared responsibilities since there's only one status button.
  • Hard to navigate to nested tasks.
  • Things can get buried pretty fast if you have a lot of tags on a complex project. In my instance, due dates can get a little lost.
  • Greater visibility to team progress and availability.
  • It's also just really good for keeping track of your own time even without a time.
Reviewing click-ups has been an effective way to structure a "sprint" meeting on a long project our team has been working on.
We replaced what used to be a game of tag via email to take requests from another area with a ticketing system. We can now better manage the workflow and pace rather than respond reactively.
