Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control
ConnectWise Control allows us to connect to and support our sales guys out in the field. It also allows for fast access to assist employees within the building as it's easy and fast to connect to other computers.
Pros
- ConnectWise allows you to connect to users fast. It also has the ability to install the software to give you indefinite access to frequently used\familiar computer, thus making it even faster to connect because you don't need to give out any links or codes to establish the connection.
- When installed on the computer, if a restart has to be done, it will automatically reconnect upon boot.
- Easy file sharing between computers.
- If the network is slow, it has the ability to change the quality of the session to help you get your job done.
- Allows you to blank the guest screen, or just block their input allowing you to complete the task you need to do without interference.
Cons
- If a previous verison of ConnectWise Control is installed it should be automatically uninstalled when a new copy is installed. We had a consulting firm prior to signing up with ConnectWise Control ourselves, however we didn't realize that they had been using the same software until we tried to install ConnectWise Control and have the old software try to override us. Once we installed the old software it worked great.
- Would like to have a cheaper option to add a second tech to use ConnectWise Control simultaneously.
- Stress free connection to remote users. No longer need to guide them to a login screen to initiate connection. Once software is installed, we can be there to assist them with a click of a button
- Price of software is comparable with other remote access companies, however, we have found ConnectWise Control far superior, and the software of choice for our company.
- Session speed is great for most internet connections. The only time a problem was ever experienced was with an internet connection at a hotel while an employee was travelling. However, ConnectWise has a feature to lower to quality of the image, and at the lowest setting, we could assist and fix the issue without a problem.
We had trialed a few products before, but ConnectWise Control just seemed to be the most user friendly, seamless and easy to use software. It fit every need of our company to be able to support our co-workers while they are travelling.
