Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control
I am a systems administrator and our department has end users in multiple buildings. ConnectWise allows me to provide our end users with pc support remotely, very quickly from my desk. If I need help I can easily connect my session with other remote technicians in my organization. I also use their web interface to send commands remotely and get system information as needed.
Pros
- Easily set up new meetings and support sessions that connect on the first try, even when end users aren't very technical
- A strong focus on features to make a technician's job easier. For example: the toolbox, disable end user's input and blank their screen, remote code execution through web interface
- If you come across an issue you want to review or share later, you can easily record the screen or save screenshots
- Their app does an amazing job at providing full computer control from a smart phone.
Cons
- In scenarios where the application has trouble connecting to the server, more troubleshooting information/logs would be helpful
- Provide more feedback and attention to ideas in your user forums
- At my last job, our we were able to work on multiple clients at the same time. We also were able to connect to them more reliably then with other solutions. This led our productivity to go up quickly
- At my current job, we can easily sort through our end users computers to get information about the computer without hassling the end user. That has been an unexpected benefit
I've tried a lot of the popular solutions available (free and paid) and I've continue to stay with ConnectWise. Their solution does everything I need it to and more and has always been competitively priced. Other solutions have been too expensive or too limiting in features. Where as ConnectWise has been more of the Goldilocks product....just right.
