ConnectWise Control Review
Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control
I use ConnectWise to be able to help customers with troubleshooting personal problems on their PC like installing printers, updating software, or just demonstrating how to use software. It makes for better understanding of what the customer is trying to do and explaining not only what may be needed but also better alternatives when trying to get an important project completed.
Pros
- I like the way you can connect either by email or by connecting through a web page.
- I really like the way I can transfer small files directly to a customer's PC.
- Also like the text window to chat when talking to a customer by phone is not possible.
Cons
- I have trouble with selecting and renaming files or trying to rearrange folders.
- The cost is still out of range for being able to do meetings.
- I do not see the difference in "Support" and "Access" other than access is always on.
- A lot of the features are not available (if you don't use a personal server which is out of my price range) or I haven't been able to find a way to use them.
- I'm still having trouble determining cost per connection for customer
Tried LogMeIn which was way too expensive. Tried a free version of Chrome Remote desktop which just didn't have the tools or ability to manage from one window. Tried Windows Remote but it just supports versions of Windows or Mac computers.
ConnectWise seemed to be the best bet for a small business.
