Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
As an IT Consulting Organization with a focus on Managed IT Services delivery to a variety of clients, we rely on ConnectWise Control for quick & efficient remote access to many devices. We've found it to be well priced and include competitive features. In addition to using this for access to our clients, we also use it for remote access to our own company-owned devices.
- Simple to deploy, including silent installations
- Intuitive management interface
- Remote sessions work smoothly and quickly
- Grouping devices has more of a learning curve than other solutions
- Unclear about granular permissions per group/site/customer
- Increased efficiency of our technicians, as the tool is easy to use once deployed.
- Lower soft cost than some alternatives as the cloud-based ConnectWise Control is extremely reliable.
- Lower operating cost compared to alternatives. It is priced very well.
While the Bomgar appliance has been quite reliable and only requiring an occasional reboot, ConnectWise Control has been 100% reliable. Bomgar was complex to set up, however, the ongoing management isn't overly complex. ConnectWise Control can integrate with Office 365 for login purposes which saves time when managing Control users. They both offer admin privilege escalation for the remote Windows workstation which is crucial. Control is much better priced than Bomgar.
