Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

We use Cvent at our company as a registration and event technology platform for our clients' events.
  • Registration.
  • Ease of use.
  • Integrations.
  • Not as third party planning friendly as I would like.
  • Still have to create "workarounds" for basic things like booking train travel.
  • This is hard to track for us as we have too many clients and use too many different Cvent accounts that we have to track that separately.
Cvent is quickly buying up a lot of event technology companies from registration to mobile apps. Other platforms will work at a cheaper price, but Cvent is the most versatile and has the most options.
I really suggest someone in your company taking the time to become the Cvent expert. The call in or chat support is mostly helpful although there have been times that it gets frustrating when they don't understand what you want to accomplish. Their account managers seem to have a lot of accounts on their plates. You are also assigned a customer success consultant but I have found very few of the ones we have had to be pro-active and take an interest in our account. They mostly just work with you when you contact them with an issue.

Cvent has options for events from large to small and their new Flex tool makes it easy to design professional looking websites and registration as long as you have a basic knowledge of graphic design.
