I am researching background information for client pitches. The attorneys, marketing, and conflicts are all requestors of information.

No. I don't trust the revenue information. We need good quality information on small companies which I know is very hard to get. I usually don't filter because I am afraid I will do something.
We always need accurate email addresses which are very hard to get. I wish they had more of them.

I use Capital IQ almost every day. The whole website is superior to D&B Hoovers in my opinion. I go to Hoovers when I can't find a company there.

I use it to look for company information. Being able to compile a list is helpful. Sometimes there is very little on a company and I get a multi-paged report with only enough info to cover one page. Before OneSource merged with Hoovers, we were able to get company research reports. What is on there now is old or no information at all. I wish it had the quality of the information that was OneSource. It is not the first place I go for company information. I start with Capital IQ. The worse is when you need help with the website. You cannot speak directly to the person and the chatbot leaves a lot to be desired.
