Overall Satisfaction with D&B Hoovers

We look to locate contact information for senior executives at companies, as well as find out which companies are the leads in different kinds of industries. The website is also good for locating the headquarters for each business and providing a sense of the companies' revenue and related subsidiaries if applicable.

THe website provides the basic information we need when it is updated, such as email of contacts, street address of contacts, identity of management team members, revenue information of companies, number of employees for each company, headquarters for each company. THe other helpful aspect is the ability to create lists based on this information and industries specifically.
When it is updated and accurate, the data can be very helpful so that we can send business correspondence. The most important aspects to us are the email address, phone number, and street address of each person of the different management teams. When there is out of date information, it is a problem.
THe most current updated information that we find is on Linkedin, especially in the case of finding people and their job titles,. Unfortunately no other contact information is provided, but when we use this and Hoovers and it very helpful. But there are very few tools that are helpful in this area, other than Google in general.

D&B does a good job of providing an initial place to look up information on companies and their management team. The ease of use of the website is a plus, as is the speed with which information is retrieved. The report capabilities are especially helpful when trying to learn about the leaders within an industry.
