Overall Satisfaction with DataMotion
We use DataMotion to communicate HIPAA-protected information about and to our clients. DataMotion allows us to schedule, provide appointment information and resources, field appointment and workshop requests, and billing communications.
- Quick Communication direct to recipient inbox.
- Easily trackable read receipts.
- Allows conversation to be tracked similar to regular email.
- I think the interface could be improved to be more user-friendly - a little clunky clicking around sometimes.
- Adding some regular email features - away messages, rules, etc.
- Clearer instructions about how to log in the first time on the email that is sent to the recipient. Sometimes clients have trouble understanding how to open/log in.
- Improved HIPAA compliant communications
- Accessible tool at a reasonable cost
- Well maintained, despite potential improvements to interface.
Teams [are] easier to use because it doesn't require continued login and has a quick chat feature - Teams [are] also HIPAA compliant. Epic and VMWare are associated with patient charts, which makes them different from DataMotion. I like that DataMotion alerts patients directly to their inbox, whereas Epic/VM would have to log in to [an] external app.
We are a healthcare team and do not have familiarity with APIs. Our IT team has helped us set this up, but perhaps some user-facing materials about what can be done with enhanced APIs would be helpful.
