Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We have found Deputy to be very helpful for our early childhood program. We use it to schedule the staff, notify substitute teachers of openings, and as a communication platform.
  • Post schedules.
  • Allow "subs" to pick up open shifts.
  • The newsfeed function.
  • I would like a feature where if a "sub" sees the open shift and does not wanted they can communicated that they have seen it- so we do not call to ask (thinking they may not have gotten the message).
  • The leave accrual function was challenging to figure out.
  • Saved time on imputing timesheets.
Deputy was the first scheduling program I used as a manager.

We do not use all of the features (we are not in a sales market- but a service market) so I can not speak to all the potential uses. I think we use it at a basic level and it has been helpful to us.
It has been many years since we started but I recall the setup to be very simple.
We are an early childhood center/school. Deputy has been a very helpful scheduling and communication tool for us for many years. The app functions well as does the desktop version. We recommend Deputy often.
