Our client use Deputy to roster their staff and communication with them in a mobile format and then their staff clock timesheets against the roster, which is then used to automate their payroll requirements with their payroll application.

- Rostering and showing the cost of a roster before you announce the roster to the team.
- Automating timesheets for the payroll.
- The ability to do custom awards outside of the standard awards they support.
- The ability to attached supporting documentation for leave requests.
- It saves time in processing payroll and ensure staff are paid correctly.
- Downside would be that timesheets must be logged and approved.

Tanda and Deputy are very similar, Deputy is a lot more affordable and their mobile offering over Tanda cover more device options and have been around a long time in the market.
