Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We set up an off-shore team comprising our customer service team and other departments. We needed a platform to manage the scheduling (Workforce management) and leave balances of our entire off-shore team. We currently use a deputy to manage this. Our teams’ schedules change on a monthly basis and the deputy makes it easy for us to create rosters in advance and track who starts when, who is late, and who is on leave.

Feature and functionality wise they are very similar. I liked the UI for both platforms. The main reason we ended up choosing Deputy is because of their good pricing, Deputy was significantly less costly, thus we are getting more value. The other reason was that I liked the way we could set up leave for our team - as they are off-shore, leave is quite complex.

Deputy is a powerful tool. It’s easy to use and very cost-effective and valuable. It does what we need to do and has saved our business effort, time, and money.
I did the implementation myself, it did take a bit of time to configure everything and some of the settings are difficult to find but once it’s set up, you don’t need to dig around for the settings again. Overall, implementation was easy enough and it was quick. We also had some support from Deputy to help.
Scheduling: we use Deputy for scheduling our multiple teams. I like the way we can set up multiple teams and view their schedules easily. Our most used feature and I find it good. Timesheets: Timesheets are automatically created and are easy to review, edit and approve.Shift start and end: Employees can start their shift and end their shift easily, this allows us to see if they are working OT, starting early or late. UI: overall I like the UI, it’s simple and easy to use. Areas to improve: The integration page is not very flexible and limited, integrations can be improved.
