Dropbox Gets The Job Done
Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
My organization uses Dropbox to set up shared folders with our clients to enable [...] easy sharing of documents and images without [being] constrained by the file size limits or organizational issues presented by sharing files over email. This allows us to have a common repository of relevant files [...] shared with a team working on a project, [and] an effective archive of elements for later review.
Pros
- Sharing between users
- Fast syncing
- Data integrity
- Access control
Cons
- UI can use some work, as at times it's not intuitive
- Users still have confusion between what's living on the Dropbox cloud vs. what's stored locally on their devices
- Dropbox has unquestionably increased efficiency when it comes to sharing files with clients. I can simply drop a document or media file into our shared folder, and it appears on their device near-instantaneously.
I've used them all. Google Drive, Box, iDrive, iCloud, etc., and Dropbox remains at the head of the pack for ease of implementation and simplicity of operation.
