Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use Dropbox for file sharing between teams. We are located in San Diego and Madison, and Dropbox helps us share files and information between our two campuses as well as with individuals who are completely remote in other cities.

Dropbox is preferable as we deal with Microsoft documents and non-Google documents. Syncing on a local computer is more robust than Google Drive on a Desktop.

I feel like Dropbox is well used for individuals who are trying to quickly share files regardless of their physical location. Dropbox may not be the most suitable platform for individuals to collaborate on the same documents or files simultaneously, nor is it suitable for sharing code (there are other platforms that are more suited for that, such as GitHub or GitLab).
