Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Dropbox is where the organization's art director stores almost all the major graphics and collateral the organization uses. It's also a catalog of about seven years of graphic work. Keeping the assets in Dropbox makes it easy for anyone on the marketing team to find graphics, booklets, billboards, and far more at any time, rather than having to send emails back and forth for a single logo.

Pros

  • Storing large and extra large (hundreds of mb to gb) files
  • Navigating to particular file trees
  • Sharing the account with several users

Cons

  • Navigating to certain buttons, like "share," or "download."
  • Providing a less expensive tier for customers.
Our company uses Microsoft and our art director uses Mac OS, so Google wouldn't have aligned as seamlessly with our current products.

Do you think Dropbox delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dropbox's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Dropbox go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox again?

Yes

Dropbox is great for if you have a large amount of image files that you need to share with a team of people, or for if you want to look back on the changes your company has made over the years in branding. Dropbox is not a place for editing or creating content.
