Fast and Easy
Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox as a shared folder for everyone in the company to save and share a broad range of files and folders. It is where we find all documents that need to be made available across multiple employees. It is used instead of sending emails with attached documents. All customer data, sales history and financials that need to be shared are stored in Dropbox. This way if an employee leaves, we still have all relevant history of important customer data and past sales information.
Pros
- Full flexibility on creating multiple folders that make it easy to store, catalogue and find relevant files
- Dropbox informs the entire team when anyone saves a new file into dropbox or makes a change to an existing file
- Dropbox acts as a seemless folder extension to our normal Window Explorer so that you dont even notice it is remote. It is always on my laptop and available.
Cons
- Mobile app not as capable as on computer
- Improve search functionality
- Dropbox enables me to access critical company customer and financial data whenever I need it
- I am much faster to respond to customer and management requests whether I am in home office or remote traveling
Dropbox is easier to use and interface with than SharePoint was. Though SharePoint does have enterprise capability with other office products, I found I did not need nor use that capability as much as I had expected.
