Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox to sync our files from units in the field back to our office. If new files are being generated in the field, we are seeing them in the office in real time. We also use it to clone our devices quickly and have programmed them to have the exact same pathways so that the devices function as identical copies. Mixed with the power of Zapier to create new in progress work folders for upcoming projects, there is always a folder automatically available for our teams to collaborate in for all files related to certain major projects. It is a tool that has directly impacted our business and allowed us to create an infrastructure to grow our organization without the need for large teams of data analysts to organize or comb through data to make sure it is easy to find. This has been a huge aid to my business and I recommend it to many others as well.
- File Organization
- Syncing Across Multiple Devices
- Easy Access to Collaborative Files
- Clear Destination Pathways
- Easy Navigation
- When using Breadcrumbs, I always get confused and go back to many folders and then forward. Always overshooting because the folder that is open doesn't show as a breadcrumb, so inherently, I automatically click two folders back every time because that is how breadcrumbs normally work in most other places.
- I wish I could have access to my Main Business Dropbox and My personal business dropbox on one computer. Right now, you can only add a personal dropbox if it is not associated with your team account.
- I wish you could create temporary token logins or temporary logins for partners to utilize your account on certain projects. If I could create a temp login authorization that they can use to start Dropbox, then sync to our main Dropbox account, then be disconnected without them having access to our full Dropbox account. The way we utilize it, we create files that need to sync to multiple devices on-site at jobs, but the current tools don't allow for a fully streamlined process the way we need it to work with our software tools for our business.
- It has been interwoven into many aspects of our business.
- It has reduced manual labor cost by automating a lot of organization process. What used to take hours of manual file sorting can now be done automatically in minutes.
Dropbox has a lot more integrations that work well with our business type.
