Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
To access files and info while on job site, Dropbox makes putting things in the correct file folders easy and seamless. We are able to move emails, attachments, bids, bills, payments, you name it! We are able to have completed e-copy of all current and existing clients, as well as past clients, at our fingertips, making this a smooth experience for all our users. When our team is on a job site, they often cannot access a paper file for specifications or precise measurements if they need an additional resource; Dropbox makes maintaining an extra file copy a breeze.
- Organized
- Efficient use of time (items can be clearly identified)
- Effortless (smooth transfer of data and info)
- Value (the amount we pay to how much we use this and save on time is huge!)
- Tough one as Dropbox is near perfect...maybe a way to have other users access it if we give them a one-time code?
- Positive: Saves time (questions can be handled then and there)
- Positive: Saves money (no need to return back and forth to job site when materials can be accessed via dropbox)
- Negative: we have not fine tuned how to access certain areas of Dropbox with vendors or part time staff so they do not have access to our files; we need to work on that.
Dropbox is superior for storage; it is easy to use and follow. Google Drive is confusing for storage. For editing, however, Google Drive features are better (especially for IRL editing) in my opinion. Dropbox has better organization capabilities and other features that we currently do not use (but might in future, including video and audio storage capabilities). Google Drive has its limitations, especially with a Mac.
