Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I am a portrait photographer. It's extremely important that I maintain all of my clients' portraits. These images are irreplaceable and priceless. Dropbox makes it extremely easy to not only back up my clients' images but to easily access their images as well. I feel confident that I will never lose a client's image as long as I've uploaded it to Dropbox.
- Backing Up
- Easy to view from any remote location
- Able to access it on my main computer as if it were local
- I wish there were many additional plans for just one user. I'm a one-woman operation, but saving all of my clients' images for over a decade adds up to needing a lot of storage space. My only upgrade option was to add on as if I had other employees.
- While I have no hard numbers, just knowing that I can guarantee that I will have my clients' images if they come back 10 years from now, has a huge impact on my business.
- The fact that I never lose a file once it's on Dropbox is a huge plus for my business. I'm not looking like a fool trying to find a file that's no longer available.
I've run into lots of snags with Google - not always being able to access my files and not always being able to share them across platforms. It was not as seamless and user-friendly as Dropbox. You get what you pay for. The savings with Google weren't worth the security I have with Dropbox.
