Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dropbox to share files across a number of entities in the group and a number of offices. It works great to allow ease of access to files for anybody that needs to have access and is better in my opinion than having direct access to our on premise servers.

Pros and Cons

File Sharing
Multiple people working on the same files at a time
Cloud based so remote access is super simple

Cons

I've been quite happy. I don't really see any glaring areas that need improvement.

Return on Investment

It costs more than our previous solution but the functionality greatly exceeds what we used to have.

Alternatives Considered

OneDrive

As an organization we found permissioning and user access to be easier to manage with Dropbox than OneDrive. The file storage themselves seem pretty comparable so the main benefit I've observed is the user access seems a bit more intuitive with Dropbox.

Likelihood to Recommend

Works great across entities and office locations. It's fantastic to always know you're working on the most current version of a file and the ease of access from home, on the road, or in the office is unmatched. I can't go back to file explorer as our primary file storage solution after having used Dropbox.
