Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
As we are a remote company, Dropbox is critical to our success. Dropbox allow all employees to have their own folder to keep their files organized as well as company share folders that the whole organization can access. We also use Dropbox for business with our external partners so they can have controlled access to the information we need to share with them. We could not function as successfully as we do without using Dropbox for Business.
Pros
- Organizes folders into personal and business folders.
- Allows for easy files sharing inside and outside our organization
- Easy to use interface both on deskop and the app.
Cons
- We'd like to see additional offerings for 3rd party backups - i.e. cold storage
- Dropbox for Business has saved us thousands of dollars vs. maintaining our own internal servers and security.
- Dropbox is common so it makes us easy to share with external partners that have the familiarity with how it works.
- They offer a lot of storage space at our plan level and we have a lot of room to grow.
We have been with Dropbox since the company went remote.
