Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use Dropbox to collaborate work files and documents, to make sure everyone has access that needs it. It's also handy for storing pictures/movies and files that are large in size to clear up room on local hard drives. It helps a lot to have one central space for files.

Pros

  • Keeping files in sync
  • upload/download speed
  • mac interface blends with finder

Cons

  • launching services and then stopping them (capture)
  • iphone photo backup could be easier to understand
  • lets us share files between team members
  • store large files doesn't bog down local computer
mostly integrates with mac's finder, seamless just feels like another folder on the computer, I like this a lot
better interface and public link sharing easier

need to share files among a group of people that are always in sync so everyone has access to the same files.

less appropriate to use for sharing to strangers because maybe they don't have an account, this happens to me on Google Drive all the time people share with me but I don't have an account
