Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Store files, share links to documents or folders, and (for a brief while) used Dropbox Capture to do screen walkthroughs.

Pros

  • Fast syncing across devices
  • Links to docs generate pretty quickly
  • Everything is reliable
  • File history is amazing
  • Doesn't keep raising prices—this makes me spread the word!

Cons

  • Why did you get rid of Capture?! I loved doing screen recordings! Please offer something similar or bring it back.
  • Please add feature to turn on and off whether a link can "work" (so that users can share a link and then disable the link without having to delete the document)
  • More password-protection options for file sharing
  • Gives me peace of mind because I can save and backup large files with file history
  • Allows me to send links to large documents rather than as attachments
  • Helps me sync across devices automatically, improving my efficiency
Very easy to use and sync across devices, and clear interface. Options and controls may be slightly intimidating to new users.
Dropbox has better design and seems to be faster.

Great for anyone who has a lot of files (especially large files), enjoys autosyncing files across devices, regularly needs to share files privately with others, and wants some file version history to autosave in the background. Less suitable for people who don't need their files available on multiple devices or who don't regularly share files with others.
