Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

I run a recording / production studio. All my projects are saved and backed up on Dropbox. I use it on MacOS and sync everything automatically. I then create folders in Dropbox which I share with our clients. It helps me keep organized, backed up and is perfect for my workflow and I hope it never changes, especially the mac sync.

Pros

Cons

  • sharing files from the iOS app
  • web players can be buggy
  • quick folder sharing saves time
  • finder editing and instant sync is perfect

It is a very natural and seamless workflow for me thanks to the MacOS sync functionality.
No expiration on transfers is one of my strongest arguments FOR Dropbox

Shared folders are great. I push all my colleagues to use Dropbox because it makes sharing work together seamless. I do not have to worry about corporate encryption and stuff like that so for my uses there are really no downsides.
