Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

I am a paralegal on the legal team and we use Dropbox as a way to organize and keep all documents confidential. With Dropbox we are able to share what needs to be shared and keep the rest confidential in accordance with our legal training. I am the admin on our account and I will say the usability is great.

Pros

  • Organization
  • the search option
  • renaming and saving conventions are simple

Cons

  • allowing a more standard version of excel to be used with in the software
  • converting files from word to PDF inside Dropbox.
  • storage increase
I would give Dropbox platform a 10 out of 10 due to the fact that the file search option is so very reliable. You don't have to have the exact wording ignorer to find your file you can usually locate files from simple searches which has been super helpful cause sometimes I forget what I named something.
Dropbox is the more reliable option for any confidential files as it has proven to be substantially more secure than that of Google Drive. I have noticed that in Google Drive it is often too easy for folks to be able to search and find files that are not meant for them

Dropbox has been very helpful with organization and has allowed us to create individual files for all cases past present and future that are being worked on. I also really like the moving files and or reorganization is really simple. This is a great platform for a small team it is not realistic on a larger scale because it can become pricey per license.
