Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

In my case, the issues I encounter are related to the ability to access my files on different equipment and in different locations. Also, with various people accessing duplicate files, Dropbox is a very easy-to-use alternative that can be used online or with other operating systems.

Pros

  • Save my information promptly.
  • Be multi platform.
  • Have online and offline features.

Cons

  • Improve file recovery options.
  • I don't know if this is available, but I would like to see the file names on my computer. I only have them stored online.
  • I can't give hard numbers but it's not expensive which is great budget wise.
It's super easy to use. I was able to teach my undergrad students and my elderly grandma how to use it. My grandma uses it to save her pictures.
I like Dropbox more because of the way it interacts with the computer, like another folder. Super easy to use.
