Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to transfer files between my various devices and share large files using the Dropbox links. I have also used it to share folders. But I mainly use Dropbox for file storage and management. There are still lots of features that I have not tried or need. I will need to learn how to use some of the other features someday.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Storage of various types of files.
Sharing large files using the Dropbox link.
Sharing folders among family or project members.

Cons

So far I have not encountered any issues yet.
Can’t think of any features that I need that is not in Dropbox now.
File compression? Not sure if it’s there already.

Return on Investment

I have the business version with 1TB, lots of storage space.
I don’t worry about cloud storage anymore.
Good bang for the buck..

Usability

Seems easy to use and syncs reasonably well with all my devices. The only time I’ve had issues was when I was in China. I cannot access my Dropbox.

Alternatives Considered

Sync.com

Sync is cheaper but seems very slow. Didn’t get too far with it.

Likelihood to Recommend

Transferring large files is a great feature, especially video files. I have sent Dropbox links of video files over the years without any issues.
