Typical uses include file sharing with clients, temporary backup and team work files and various project workfiles. These files could be project documents, photos, video and other types of media.
Pros
- Easy File Sharing
- reliablility
- quickly accessible via app
Cons
- Upload speed can be terrible
- organization and file structure is not the best
- uploaded to specific folders often puts files in the wrong folders.
- in some cases Dropbox has reduced the need/burden of external storage drives
- Allow us to simply file sharing resulting in quick client deliver
- collaborate tools have been beneficial when working on projects with teams offsite
very similar. Dropbox offers tiers of file storage the are better for our current needs. Other than storage options, the are all very similar
