No nonsense all service
Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I use Dropbox as a repository for special event photos, so that attendees and their friends and families can relive the festivities. I also use it for personal file backups off of the company servers. Dropbox’s privacy settings allow for easy segregation of public and private content, allowing for a versatile solution for all of my file sharing and off-server backup needs.
Pros
- Permissions setting
- Content segregation
- Mobile access
Cons
- Mobile app can become slow
- Sluggish performance on large files
- Expanded file format options for in-browser previews
- Hassle free upgrades
- Consistent pricing
- No need to replace hardware
- Google Drive and OneDrive
Dropbox has a less intrusive reputation and stays out of the news for matters unrelated to its services, which is becoming more and more rare. If I ever see Dropbox or its representatives start making noise in arena outside the bounds of the services they provide I can see my opinion souring quickly.
