Overall Satisfaction with Evernote
It's being used across the department and in different departments across the organization as well. Mostly it's being used on an individual and team level to share meeting notes/minutes as well as to supplement overall planning discussions. It addresses the need to store, search, retrieve and share notes across team members as well as to be able to search and retrieve notes across multiple devices.
Pros
- Easy to use UI
- Ease of searching
- Ability to organize notes easily into notebooks
Cons
- Data encryption and security
- Group chat
- Document versioning/group editing
- Sharing capability
- Web clipping using the browser plug-in
- Ability to organize notes easily
- Increased efficiency for personal notetaking
- Increased ability to search personal notes
- Ease of sharing notes with team members
- Faster information/meeting notes exchange
Evernote has a nicer UI that makes taking notes really easy and pleasant. We do use OneNote for cases where we need MS Teams integration, but for personal note-taking, many individuals across the organization will use Evernote to organize their meeting notes as well as research that they're doing. [A] very versatile tool for organizing personal work backlogs/notes or smaller scale project notes.
