Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

We use EZ Texting in a variety of areas. Everything from text-based notifications to end users and youth applicants, weather changes, and automated updates for Enterprise systems. EZ Texting addresses the business needs to send/track a variety of SMS messages for any number of business processes. The majority of customers are youth, and texting is the communication method of choice for many young people.
  • The ability to leverage large datasets, send and track responses and opt-outs is something EZ Texting does well.
  • Being able to balance the economy of scale along with certain pre-paid service amounts allows the organization to "buffer up" prior to resource constraints.
  • The ability to access detailed reports about communication efforts and campaigns provides valuable insight into business efforts and marketing strategies.
  • The one area that I would love to see EZ Texting improve/offer is API integration option to offload data and contacts from our Enterprise system versus uploading extracts.
  • The ability to engage young people where they are and in the method they are most comfortable has had the greatest impact.
  • The ability to leverage a communication platform that functions at the intersection of both scale and quality is an important driver for our continued use of the product.
  • It has allowed our organization to communicate while remaining compliant with applicable regulatory mandates, without having to maintain prohibitive internal structures and processes.
We selected EZ Texting for ease and speed of use. The ability to generate service contracts and start service and mass texting projects the same day was valuable.
Well suited as a stand-in for providing TXT/SMS solutions for communicating en mass. Probably less suited as a stand-in for small volume communication one-offs.

Integrating EZ Texting

EZ Texting platform is standard enough with enough functionality without being too complex. It meets our
needs for an organization.
  • Custom ERP solution via our Data Warehouse
The integration is based on dataflows from our custom ERP solution in and out of our data warehouse. We use regular scripts to pull selected customer based information to queue up for SMS messaging with the EZ Texting platform. From there and analyst uploads and fire off the messaging. About 80% of the usage is one way communication for alerts and notifications.
  • Not any other systems at use at the moment that we are planning to integrate
  • File import/export
  • ETL tools
The one piece of advice I would give regarding integration with EZ Texting would be
to make sure that your customer / participant opt-in data is complete.

EZ-Texting makes it easy enough to see opt-outs for messages sent.

That could be a useful data point for further outreach to customers
regarding the types and frequency of communication.
