Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong in various ways. We use it to review ALL recorded calls regardless of department. It is actively used to review sales calls and coach our sales staff. However, it is also a phenomenal onboarding tool. As someone new to my company, I loved being able to go through the library my manager created to watch the Zoom calls my team members recorded. I feel more confident seeing how my colleagues run their calls and adapting them to my style.

Pros

  • AI summaries- reviewing everything discussed without going through the whole recording or transcript.
  • Next steps summary- helping me tie up my meeting with action items after the fact.
  • Call statistics let me know how frequently everyone is speaking and where patience can be practiced in allowing others to speak.

Cons

  • As a meeting owner, I would love to have the option to upload a video if I was not able to connect it with Gong.
  • Time saving- don't have to record notes when using Gong.
I love being able to sort all of my calls within a library. As someone new to my company, I loved being able to go through the library my manager created to watch the Zoom calls my team members recorded. I feel more confident seeing how my colleagues run their calls and adapting them to my own style.
As someone who is not in sales, AI insights are not used. However, AI shines in other areas, such as summaries, highlights, action items, etc.
It allows me to capture the different questions that customers ask and helps us prepare our material to be clearer and more straightforward, giving clients more reassurance that we are well-rounded in knowledge.

- For upskilling sales reps—for onboarding—allow others to see how we interact with customers for our roles—excellent for sharing with clients, and putting in an expiration date is a wonderful feature—a great time saver for the next steps, especially as a presenter without having time to take notes myself.
